One of the ways in which you can become involved with business development and marketing at Nabarro as a trainee is through Contact Nabarro. Contact Nabarro is an initiative that was set up seventeen years ago by a group of trainees and young lawyers with the aim of encouraging business development amongst trainees and their peers in other organisations, using the forum of regular events organised and hosted by Nabarro trainees. There is a Contact Nabarro committee, made up of a number of trainees, across all intakes, and they organise and host events on a tri-annual basis. At these events, each Nabarro trainee is asked to invite a professional contact (who will be at a similar stage of their career) from all types of industries. In addition to these core events, Contact Nabarro runs a series of smaller satellite events throughout the year which are practice specific and all trainees are encouraged to plan and host an event. Business development is a key part of practicing commercial law.
