We aim to retain all of our trainees on qualification and see our trainees as an important investment for the future of the firm. Our four month seat system means that you will receive excellent exposure to the firm’s wide range of practice areas enabling you to make an informed choice on where you wish to qualify. We will sit down with you on a one-to-one basis to discuss qualification and your mentor will also be on hand to offer advice and guidance.

Our retention figures over the past four years are as follows:
- In September 2008/January 2009 we retained 87% of our trainees
- In September 2009/January 2010 we retained 84% of our trainees
- In September 2010/January 2011 we retained 88% of our trainees
- in September 2011/January 2012 we retained 91% of our trainees
